Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent shares epic throwback snap as she celebrates 15 years of playing Sophie Webster in the ITV soap
She’s portrayed Coronation Street‘s Sophie Webster for 15 years.
And to celebrate, Brooke Vincent shared an epic throwback picture of her younger self on her first day on the soap.
The actress, 26, took to Instagram on Friday to upload the snap of herself wearing a school uniform and sporting a shorter bobbed haircut complete with a fringe.

Captioning the image, Brooke wrote: ‘F I F T E E N years ago today was my first day at playing ”Sophie Webster” They cut off all my hair and gave me a fringe. (sic)
‘Who would have thought all these years later I would still be there, making a nuisance of myself. How time flies!!’ (sic)
The star’s colleagues old and new were quick to comment on the image, with some sharing memories of their years on the soap together.
Jennie McAlpine, who plays Fiz Stape, wrote: ‘I remember meeting you in that makeup chair like it was YESTERDAY! WOW! Love you Brooke.’

While Beth Sutherland actress Lisa George shared: ‘And you’ve grown up to be a beautiful grounded, caring, loving, gorgeous young woman who we love xxx.’
Brooke also shared several snaps from her time on the famous street, with pictures showing her with her on-screen friends and family.

Several pictures showed the actress with her onscreen father Michael Le Vell, who he himself has played Kevin Webster for over 35 years as well as on-screen mum Sally Webster, played by Sally Dynevor.
She also uploaded before and after pictures of herself with Helen Flanagan who plays her on-screen sister Rosie Webster.
Brooke sweetly acknowledged longtime soap star Malcolm Hebden with a sweet snap of her with the Norris Cole actor.

Over her 15 years on the soap, Brooke’s character has been embroiled in several dramatic story lines including jilting fiancée Sian Powers at the alter and being run over after trying to stop Ryan Connor playing a dangerous game of chicken.
She was also left devastated by the death of her beloved girlfriend Maddie Heath.
Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
