Coronation Street spoilers: Will the cobbles be rocked by huge death in affair bombshell?

Robert Preston (played by Tristan Gemmill) has found himself engaged to both Vicky Jefferies (Kerri Quinn) and Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) on Coronation Street.

Both women are in the dark about Robert’s two-timing ways but Vicky’s ex-Jed (Branwell Donaghey) discovered the truth and has been blackmailing the chef ever since.

In tonight’s episode the two-timer issued a warning to Jed but could Robert’s lies finally be catching up with him?

As the pair discussed Tyler Jefferies (Will Barnett) moving to Ireland, Jed said: “Just a little reminder, you’re not the one who’s calling the shots.”

Robert hit back: “You know what I think, you don’t want him to come with you, you’re only doing this to get back at Vicky because you know you’ve lost her.”

Seething, Jed said: “If I was you I’d try a bit harder to be nice to me.”

“I don’t give a toss what you do to me, the only people I care about are Vicky and Tyler,” the love rat remarked.

“And what about Michelle? Conveniently forgot about her, well I haven’t,” Jed added.

“Maybe it’s time I told Vicky all about her.”

But Robert warned: “You try it, I’ll be straight to the police.

“I’m sure they’ll be very interested to hear how you’ve been blackmailing me.”

Robert explained he had given Jed the money in the Bistro where CCTV captured everything.

If Michelle discovers the CCTV footage and demand answers from Robert, it’s likely the love rat will continue to lie.

Could she turn to Jed who would be more than happy to take down Robert by revealing the truth?

Michelle will be heartbroken by the news and may plan the ultimate revenge on her cheating fiancee

With Robert star Tristan confirming his exit earlier this year, will Michelle kill the Bistro owner when he comes clean?

Elsewhere, Sean Tully star Antony Cotton has hinted at a Weatherfield resident making a shock comeback to the cobbles.

Speaking to The Daily Star about Sean’s future on the show, Antony teased: “Towards the end of this year, I’ve got a big storyline.

“I will be working with someone that the audience may have seen before.”

“Maybe someone is returning!” the soap star added.

Coronation Street continues tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
