Coronation Street character Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) will find himself in the centre of the David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) and Josh Tucker’s (Ryan Clayton) drama next week.
According to Corrie spoilers, Paul attempts to help David clear his name in upcoming episodes.
Hairdresser David stands accused of stabbing his rapist Josh in prison.
Gail Platt’s youngest son is set to receive more bad news in dramatic scenes after being charged with attempted murder.
The Platt family gather together to try and put an end to his nightmare.
Brother Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) plans to pretends to be a lawyer to trick Josh into admitting who really stabbed him.
Nick’s plan comes to an abrupt end when Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) spots him trying to pull off the sneaky scheme.
However, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) persuades the vicar to speak to Josh in an attempt to find out the truth.
When Billy confronts Josh, the bad boy is adamant that he’s sticking to his word, hoping to ruin David’s reputation.
Billy is left disappointed following his talk with Josh and tells former lover Paul about Josh raping David.
Paul, who was sexually abused, admits he feels for David and confirms that he’s going to try and help him.
Word later reaches the Cobbles that new evidence could lead to David being released in time for his upcoming nuptials with Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding).
David Platt star Jack P Shepherd told Digital Spy: “David hears that Josh has changed his story again, saying it was Tez and Abe who attacked him, and he could be released that day.
“It means everything to him to get married to Shona, but whether they can actually get married that day, he still doesn’t know.”
Viewers will have to tune in to see how Paul plans to take action against Josh and if David and Shona make it down the aisle.
Coronation Street continues on ITV on Wednesday at 7.30pm
