Jim McDonald was last seen in the soap back in 2018, as he is currently serving a prison sentence after fleecing Liz of her money.
He convinced his wife that their dead daughter Katie was in fact still alive.
She continued: “They like seeing them together, then not together, then together again. Life was never boring for Liz and Jim. I think the reason the McDonalds were so popular was because the writing was just so great.”
