“I’ve been going through the books. Someone’s been making unauthorised withdrawals,” Yasmeen’s granddaughter explained.
Offended Geoff asked: “And you’re accusing me?”
“Well, you’re the only other person with access to that money!” Alya stated but Geoff was adamant: “The only money I’ve taken out of that account has been for the new menus.”
“There are over a thousand pounds missing and you didn’t spend that on those menus,” Alya continued. “The paper was practically see-through and they were riddled with spelling mistakes. Oh, and the petty cash is light too.”
