TWISTED Geoff Metcalfe will tell Yasmeen Nazir that he has cancer in Coronation Street next week as the dark abuse plot continues.
Geoff – who’s played by Ian Bartholomew in the ITV soap – tells the sick lie after making out he’s suffering from ill health.

When Yasmeen – Shelley King – and granddaughter Alya bump into Geoff on the street, Yas asks after his health.
She then explains to Alya that Geoff has been suffering from heart palpitations.
Alya later tells Geoff that he means a lot to Yasmeen and implores him not to give up on her, leaving Geoff secretly thrilled.
Later, Geoff gives Yasmeen a list of all his ailments and tells her he thinks he could have cancer. Yasmeen is horrified.

When Geoff arrives for work at Speed Dahl later in the week, Yasmeen refuses to let him lift a finger and Geoff basks in the attention.
But when Geoff’s son Tim walks in on Yasmeen holding Geoff’s hand and offering him words of comfort at home, Yasmeen realises he hasn’t told his family about his cancer fears.
She urges Geoff to tell Tim but how far is he prepared to take his sick lie?
Corrie fans watched on in horror last week as evil Geoff kicked her out of her own bedroom after accusing her of flirting with Johnny Connor.

The radio DJ is at the centre of an awareness-raising coercive control storyline, but on Friday it took a disturbing twist.
After trying to separate Yasmeen from her friends during the Bridge tournament in the Rovers Return, Geoff played the dutiful partner in public.
But once the couple got back to Yasmeen’s house, Geoff showed his true colours and began manipulating her and shouting abuse.
He told her: “What was your intention? It certainly wasn’t to win at cards, you were giving me no help.
“Belittling me, it was only a game, so I look like a fool for daring to try. And don’t get me started on your flirting with Johnny.”

But as a confused Yasmeen began laughing at the suggestion she had flirted with Johnny, Geoff showed his true nature.
Becoming enraged he shouted at her: “Don’t you laugh at me.”
Stunned into silence Yasmeen didn’t know what to say as he then said they shouldn’t sleep in the same bed that night.
He manipulated Yasmeen into leaving her own bedroom for his comfort and further confused her.
Geoff’s behaviour left fans sickened, and they took to social media to slam it.
One wrote: “Geoff is lowlife scum, starting to emotionally abuse poor Yasmeen.”
A second said: “Geoff with Yasmeen is uncomfortable viewing.”
Another added: “That was really uncomfortable to watch.”
A fourth commented: “Poor Yasmeen, that Geoff is such a wrongun.”
