Coronation Street spoilers: Alya Nazir to kill Geoff Metcalfe over Yasmeen Nazir abuse?

Coronation Street favourite Yasmeen Nazir (played by Shelly King) is being abused by Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) on the ITV soap.

After a series of incidents, he has finally managed to keep her locked in doors, much to her disapproval.

However, in tonight’s episode, Geoff might have blown his cover as he attempted to ruin her life once more.

Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) brought back three of her DJ pals for a night cap and although they tried to be as quiet as possible, they woke up Yasmeen.

She came downstairs and was thankful for some fresh company away from Geoff.

The group shared a beer together and Yasmeen even offered them some leftover food from Speed Dahl.

However, it wasn’t long before Geoff woke up and stormed downstairs to see what the racket was.

Alya was see to show him how much fun Yasmeen was having and urged him to let her live her life.

However, Geoff insisted the group were bad news and Alya shouldn’t allow people she doesn’t know into the house, especially after she had just been mugged.

Nevertheless, Yasmeen got her own way and the group all stayed for more beers.

However, the end of tonight’s thrilling instalment, someone could be seen pinching Yasmeen’s jewellery while she slept.

Geoff did warn her that could happen as she didn’t know her friends well enough to be able to trust them.

But it’s safe to assume it’s Geoff who was the thief, potentially trying to teach her a lesson and as a result, put his control over her too.

Coronation Street viewers know all too well how fiery Alya is and she won’t put up with Geoff’s nonsense.

Will she starts a big argument with him and could it turn violent as he struggles to come to terms with his control slipping?

Elsewhere in this evening’s episode, David Platt (Jack P Shephard) decided he needed to prove his love to Shona Ramsay (Julia Goulding).

He is currently being threatened with a jail sentence because of his involvement with Audrey Roberts’ (Sue Nicholls) money theft.

It’s 50-50 whether he could be sent down at the moment, but he is remaining hopeful, despite what Shona thinks.

However, now they’ve set an early date for the wedding, will he find he’s tempted fate too much?

Coronation Street continues Monday on ITV at 7.30pm.
