Everyone is trying to do their part as more and more countries are sent into lockdown following the coronavirus outbreak.

And Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski has decided to launch his very own cooking series to help those struggling in quarantine.

As stockpilers selfishly clear the supermarket shelves, many have been left to cobble together meals out of the basic produce in their cupboards.

But the food guru is here to help, and is dishing up all the advice over on his Instagram account.

The 36-year-old has currently dropped 13 episodes, seeing him cook the likes of omelettes, substitute takeaways and even cater to those on a plant-based diet.

‘Quaran-takeout Night,’ he wrote for his ninth episode, adding: ‘A shout out to all the small restaurants out there, but also to plantains in general.’

The puns didn’t stop there, as the chef turned every meal into an isolation dish.

One of his earlier ones being: ‘Cooped Up Chicken. The chicken may be cage-free but we sure aren’t. Chicken, literally any kind, beans, also literally any kind and other goodies make a meal.’

Antoni also tried to keep things light, and joked: ‘Parmaggedon: Healthyish chicken parm for when you want decadent but trying to wait for the weekend.’

Obviously his mini-series has gone down a treat, seeing fans praise the star for his much-needed helping hand around the kitchen.

‘How excited you get about food and specifically how excited you just got about the bubbling cheese is what makes me wanna cook,’ one wrote while another added: ‘The names of these meals are everything. Pls publish a quarantine cookbook!’

Someone else felt the same: ‘Yum! Thank you for helping us stay sane.’

Others were clearly in agreement: ‘Love these cooking videos. Literally becoming a hilight of my day and actually learning so much! Thank you!’

And it’s not just Antoni who has been serving up cooking advice, as Jamie Oliver also teamed up with Channel 4 for his very own show: Keep Cooking and Carry On.

Just last week, the famous chef had to follow in Antoni’s shoes and film the entire show from his mobile phone.
