Conor McGregor's teammate claims he has been offered £4m to fight Jake Paul

Conor McGregor’s training partner Dillon Danis has claimed he has been offered £4million to fight YouTube star Jake Paul.

Paul, whose brother Logan fights KSI in their rematch in Los Angeles on November 9, has repeatedly called out MMA star Danis.

Paul will not fight on the undercard of his brother’s sequel but could appear on a separate show in December.

And Danis told ESPN: “We’re still working on the fight with Jake Paul, the boxing fight, so I want that to happen really bad.

“In the beginning he called me out – everyone think I called him out, but I wouldn’t call out a YouTuber.

“He called me out like he wanted to fight me and this and that and I was kind of like, ‘Whatever, I’m not going to fight a YouTuber’.

“And then the money came in to part and I was like ‘Maybe I’ll just shut this motherf***er up’.

“So I’ve been thinking about it lately and I’m down to do it, they’re offering me $4-$5m for a boxing fight against some p**** that can’t even defend himself.

“When I talked to Jake Paul they said the last one they made $8m so they split four between each other.

“But he said obviously this fight will be a lot bigger, so let’s do it, and I was like, ‘Okay, I’m down’.”

Paul could instead face fellow YouTube star AnEsonGib.

Matchroom Boxing posted a video of Hearn in conversation with AnEsonGib – real name Ali – in which promoter Eddie Hearn says: “We’re talking, me and everybody else, trying to get it done. Not for this card, but shortly after. We’ll speak to your man and then let you boys have some fun.”

Ali replies by saying: “I’m f****** excited” and laughing, while Hearn jokes “get in the gym mate!”
