Conor Maynard has opened up about being blocked on dating apps because people don’t believe his profile is real.

It all started when 61-year-old actress Sharon Stone revealed dating app Bumble closed her account after some users reported her profile believing it was fake.

‘Hey @bumble,’ she tweeted. ‘Is being me exclusionary?

‘Don’t shut me out of the hive.’

She even posted a screenshot of the message Bumble sent her, and sure enough, the reason given was that they ‘received several reports’ about her profile being fake.

And then it was Conor’s turn to share his dating disaster story.

Quote-tweeting Sharon, the 27-year-old British singer wrote: ‘This happened to me on both @Tinder and @hinge… any help guys?

‘The holiday period can be pretty lonely.’

Aw, poor Conor!

In response, one disgruntled fan tweeted: ‘Ah @Tinder I can’t believe, do you know how long it took me to find conor and he gives me a match? you guys solve this now hahha.’

Another fan, who clearly eagerly swiped right on the young star, also demanded answers from Tinder about their pending match: ‘So that’s why you didn’t match me on Tinder yet’.

While another fan simply tweeted: ‘I mean I’d be your girlfriend for the holiday period.’

Gotta admire them for shooting their shot.

Earlier this month, Conor opened up about his love life… or lack thereof.

He told The Sun: ‘As of right now, there’s definitely not a who, but the passion in my life is creating things, like music or videos.’

Speaking about the last time he had sex, Conor added: ‘Too long since the last time. Sometimes there will be bursts of it and sometimes there’s a drought. Single life.

Well, we hope Tinder and Hinge reinstate your dating profiles soon so there can be plenty of ‘bursts’.
