Conference call telecom specialist opens Edinburgh office

A provider of audio-visual communications linking working offices to external conference callers is opening an office in Edinburgh.

Cinos, based in Frimley, Surrey, is serving an emerging market where AV and IT converge, delivering more flexibility for clients across the healthcare, manufacturing, contact centre, financial and public sectors.

Steve Franklin, executive director at Cinos, said: “As the demand for audio-visual and unified communications technology continues to increase, we recognised Edinburgh as a key location. We have created a number of positions so far in the Scottish market and have exciting plans for our future growth.”

Cinos has supplied a range of unified communications and video solutions to police forces, transport, councils, hospitals and NHS trusts since 2007.

“Our expertise in connecting the dots between AV, UC and IT departments puts us in prime position to help businesses accomplish their digital and communication objectives. We’re particularly enthusiastic about how the Edinburgh office further reinforces our commitment to Scotland’s growing technology sector,” said Franklin.

The Edinburgh office is Cinos’ eighth location, joining its Surrey headquarters, and offices in London, East Midlands and West Midlands in the UK, in addition to those in Ireland, America and Singapore.
