Comedy writer and legal expert Clive Coleman to address business leaders



Comedy writer and legal expert Clive Coleman will be guest speaker at an Inverness Chamber of Commerce event attended by 350 business leaders.

The former barrister is the BBC’s legal correspondent, the writer of forthcoming big screen film The Duke, starring Dame Helen Mirren and Jim Broadbent, and counts Dead Ringers and Spitting Images among his credits. He also acted as a legal consultant on The Bill.

The Highland Business Dinner will take place on 22 May in the Drumossie Hotel. Previous speakers have included Jon Snow, James Naughtie, Andrew Neil and John Simpson.

Paula Nicol, Inverness Chamber’s deputy chief executive, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Clive as the guest speaker at this year’s Highland Business Dinner.
