Coleen Rooney jets to Barbados with her sons amid Rebekah Vardy war of words

Coleen Rooney and her family have jetted to Barbados in the wake of her explosive WAG war with Rebekah Vardy.

The WAG’s oldest son Kai, nine, could be seen enjoying the company of his grandmother Colette McLoughlin as she showed him the wonders of an iPhone 11 pro, before later plugging his Apple AirPods in.

Clearly delighted with himself, later in the day, Kai went for a dip and caught an octopus, which he carried out of the water with his bare hands.

The Rooney clan have jetted to their favourite holiday spot in the midst of the UK half-term break.

Kai couldn’t resist taking a break from his love of water sports as he played with the flashy new phone.

With his air pods plugged in, it wasn’t clear whether the youngster was listening to music or playing a game.

Taking time away from his younger brothers, Kai looked content as he relaxed in the shade while immersed in the gadget.

Meanwhile, Colette embraced summer chic for the getaway in a printed pink cover-up complete with a tasselled hemline.

She added to the look with a pair of chic shades and tamed her short brunette tresses in place with a matching pink headband.

Proving to be an action-packed day, Kai was later seen hitting the waters on a jet-ski.  Joined by a chaperone, Kai showed off his skills as he whizzed across the ocean.

His time on the water didn’t come without a discovery as he was seen holding onto an octopus as he made his way back to shore.

Kai looked thrilled as he showed off his new catch to onlookers at the beach.

Earlier on, Kai was seen dashing along the beach with his brothers, Klay, six, and Kit, three, before building sandcastles with grandad Tony McLoughlin.

The break comes amid Coleen’s so-called ‘WAG war’ with Rebekah, after she accused the wife of Leicester City player Jamie of leaking fake stories about her to the press.

Kai appeared to be having a whale of a time as he prepared for a dip in the ocean during the family’s beach outing.

The schoolboy dashed across the beach during the fun-filled evening, while Klay and Kit built sandcastles close by.

Tony was every inch the doting granddad as he headed into the ocean for a swim with the boys who couldn’t hide their delight at heading on holiday.

Meanwhile Coleen has been embroiled in a so-called WAG war with Rebekah, after she accused the star of leaking stories about her to The Sun newspaper which she posted on social media.

Coleen’s dramatic revelation enthralled Britain and sparked an angry denial from pregnant Rebekah, who said ‘I don’t need the money’ and pointed out other people have had access to her Instagram account.

Rebekah recently gave an interview with The Daily Mail, in which she insisted arguing with Coleen is akin to rowing ‘with a pigeon.’

Rebekah was pictured returning to the UK in floods of tears. The star was supported by Jamie as she returned to London’s Heathrow Airport from a family trip to Dubai on Saturday.

In the emotional pictures, Rebekah is seen struggling to hide her tears as she makes her way through the busy airport hand-in-hand with husband Jamie.

Sources close to Becky say leading law firm Kingsley Napley has sent Coleen a letter on her behalf demanding she provides them with the evidence she has against Becky so that she can complete her investigation.

Becky has called in a forensic team to analyse her Instagram account and identify the mole who sold fake stories to The Sun from Coleen’s Instagram account.

As part of that probe, they say, they have asked Wayne’s wife to give them the proof they have that the source must have been Becky’s Instagram account.
