Coleen Rooney ‘demands Wayne stick to her new rules including a video games ban’ – Daily Mail

Coleen Rooney, 32, has reportedly issued husband Wayne, 33, with some strict new rules, following months of scandal.

In a bid to save their eleven year marriage, The Sun report Coleen has laid down the law, demanding footballer Wayne quit his video game obsession and spend more time with her and their four sons.

An insider has said the rules are Coleen’s ‘final option’ following Wayne’s barmaid bender drama last month.

A source has told The Sun that ‘Coleen is adamant Wayne can change his ways,’ with the family’s break in their favourite spot of Barbados this week marking a ‘fresh start.’

Once they’re back home in Washington DC, where Wayne plays for DC United, Coleen reportedly has some rules for Wayne to stick to.

‘First to go was his video gaming obsession and Coleen is demanding he spend more time with the family at home, rather than in a different room staring at a screen,’ claims the source.

‘She is desperate for Wayne to end his childish antics and start growing up.’

Coleen also wants more family dinners at home with their sons Kai, nine, Klay, five, Kit, three, and Cass Mac, 13 months in order for them to ‘connect’, alongside time together as a couple.

‘Coleen has stuck by Wayne through everything and, when reading the riot act didn’t work, drawing up some new rules was her final option,’ claims the source.

MailOnline has contacted Wayne and Coleen’s representatives for further comment.

Earlier this month, it was reported Coleen wanted the sportsman to check into rehab, after a 10-hour booze bender in Florida in February where he downed shots with bar girl Vickie Rosiek until 2.30am.

At the time, a source told MailOnline: ‘The couple met up yesterday to talk things through, but Coleen blames Wayne for bringing the spotlight on their family again.’

In showdown talks, Wayne told her he had nothing wrong after downing shots with bar girl Vickie until 2.30am.

‘He’s not in any trouble with Coleen. They are absolutely fine,’ a source had previously told MailOnline.

‘He’s explained everything about the night with her and said he had only been drinking with friends and had very little to do with the woman.

‘He was out in bars watching the Super Bowl like many Americans and was with his team mates. The barmaid gave Wayne a lift to another bar and they had a chat, but that was all. She left the bar while he was still there.’

His marriage was said to have been in jeopardy 18 months ago when he was arrested for driving party girl Laura Simpson, 30, in her VW Beetle in Cheshire while three times over the limit.

He was handed a two-year driving ban and 100 hours of unpaid community work, apologising for an ‘unforgivable lack of judgement’.
