Coleen Nolan and Kim Woodburn had a public fallout last year that was broadcast live on Loose Women.

And while the panelist hid from the limelight for more than three-months afterwards, the 54-year-old is now back and claims to be ‘loving life.’

The former singer spoke to new! magazine about her spat with Kim, and confessed that despite the backlash, it has actually helped her out in the long run.

She told the publication: ‘I don’t like to dwell on or remember that time. I needed to take time out of the spotlight and prioritise what was really important, which is my family and friends and the people who wish me well.

‘I was going through a bit of a hard time anyway with my divorce and I was trying to sell my house, and it all got on top of me.

‘But the whole thing did me a favour because taking time out has put me in a great place. I’m loving life and loving my job.’

The mother-of-three went on to say that no one can expect to be liked by everyone, so is trying to not let it bother her too much.

Kim and Coleen’s feud was ignited during their stay in the Celebrity Big Brother house, before the How Clean Is Your House? star appeared on Loose Women in a segment which was advertised as a means to bury the hatchet.

However, it seemed to take the complete opposite direction as Kim ended up storming off the show while calling Coleen ‘trash.’

Coleen subsequently took a break from the panel after receiving death threats online, with more than 25,000 critics signing a petition to have the mum-of-three sacked.

At the time, The Nolans singer described the ordeal as ‘the worst week of my life’.

‘Anyone that knows me knows I’m not a bully. That would be the most hurtful thing people could call me,’ she said.

‘From the moment she arrived, it was clear Kim didn’t want to make up. Now I wish I could go back in time and not do it.

‘It was ugly, upsetting and unpleasant for everyone.’

Loose Women fell under fire after the show sparked more than 7,911 complaints to Ofcom.

However, earlier this year the TV watchdog cleared the daytime TV staple after it became the second most complained about moment on television in 2018, and proved highly distressing both for Kim, 76, and many viewers at home.
