Coleen Nolan has spoken about her sex life on today’s Loose Women as she revealed she ‘can’t wait’ to be intimate with a man again.
On Wednesday’s show, the loose ladies were talking about dating in their fifties and Coleen told her fellow panelists Ruth Langsford, Janet Street Porter and Brenda Edwards, that she’s ready to get back out there.
The single panelists Coleen and Brenda were asked by Ruth about their thoughts on getting naked in front of a potential new partner, and Coleen said it’s normal to feel nervous about it.
Coleen replied: “Yeah absolutely I can relate to it and it’s not even the act itself, its the thought of taking your clothes off again in front of someone new.”
However, the 56-year-old said that men also feel nervous about this. She said: “I was quite shocked which is naive of me.”
Brenda went on to say that being intimate isn’t exactly a physical aspect for her.
“For me, intimacy isn’t just a physical thing. I want an emotional connection with somebody,” she admitted.
Janet was quick to tell her: “Your expectations are too high! You’re just thinking about going on a date and maybe enjoying some fumbling!”
“I don’t want no fumbling!” Brenda shouted back, as Coleen butted in: “I do!” as the rest of the panel laughed.
Despite saying that her insecurities about her body had made her feel nervous in the past, Coleen said she’s now ready to get back in the saddle.

“It was putting me off but now I have to say I can’t wait!” she revealed. “Honestly, I’m getting hot just thinking about it!”
Coleen recently spoke about meeting a “nice guy” online and said she’s looking forward to having sex again.
“Personally, I’m actually quite looking forward to having sex again after eating sandwiches for the past five years,” she wrote in her Mirror newsletter.
“I’ve been seeing a nice guy I met online, so hopefully I won’t have to rely on butties for much longer.”
