We’re still nowhere near over the fact one of our favourite couples is no more, but Cole Sprouse has been spotted for the first time since his split from Lili Reinhart and it looks like he’s OK.
Cole, 26, was spotted arriving at an airport in Vancouver on Sunday, and he gave fans and photographers a thumbs up and a smile.
Lili, 22, had left the same airport just a day earlier as the cast of Riverdale are flying in and out of the city where most of their scenes are shot.
Cole had returned to work following a short trip to London, where he was said to be attending a friend’s wedding, and was greeted by co-star Camila Mendes at the airport.
Lili and Cole had been dating for around two years, and their break-up was confirmed by ‘sources’ to Us Weekly at the start of last week.
They claimed: ‘Their friends didn’t really expect them to last in the long run. At the end of the day, their personalities are very different and their lifestyles often clashed.
‘Things have felt super heavy in the relationship for a while, and it got to be too much. They’re both very professional though and trying to be as amicable and friendly as possible.’
The couple, who play Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper in the teen drama series, hit back at the claims, with them both posting their recent W Magazine cover with different captions.
Lili posted: ‘BREAKING: A reliable source has confirmed that none of you know s**t’.
Meanwhile Cole wrote: ‘UNPRECEDENTED: Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart consume the flesh of ‘reliable sources’ to fuel their bacchanalian sex cult’.
