But a retail insider said: “It’s unlikely to make its way to the UK.

“Brits would likely break the internet tweeting Alan Partridge images at the brand.”

As well as the comic character, played on TV by Steve Coogan, left, Aha is likely to remind Brits of the Norwegian pop trio.

A-ha were big in the UK in the Eighties but never made it in the US.

The insider said: “All in all, Aha would be a daft name for a drink over here.”

Americans can buy the brand, which comes in eight flavours, from March.

Coca-Cola is hoping to capitalise on the growing thirst for fizzy water, which has seen sales rise in Britain by almost 20 per cent in the last year.

But a spokesman said: “There are currently no plans to launch Aha in the UK.”
