Clueless husband confuses Minky cleaning cloth for 'heavy flow sanitary pad'

When it comes to that time of the month, there are a number of sanitary items that women can use to make their life a little easier.

From tampons to towels and mooncups, you can buy it all – you can even get your hands on period proof underwear now.

And while it’s easy for ladies to tell the difference between all the options, some men might find themselves getting a little confused by the whole thing.

One husband recently proved just how little men really know when he hilariously mixed up a sanitary pad and one of Mrs Hinch’s favourite cleaning products.

Mrs Hinch inspired the craze for Minky cloths

If you’re a fan of the Instagram cleaning sensation, you’ll probably have seen a Minky cloth or two before.

The anti-bacterial cleaning product has two different sides, one that is ideal for scrubbing and a microfibre side that is intended to lift away grease and grime.

It’s typically used when washing up or wiping down sides and counter tops in the home.

But one man was under the impression that it served a very different purpose.

But one man thinks they look like sanitary pads – and he’s not wrong

Writing in a post on the Facebook group Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips, a woman revealed her husband had mistaken the cloth for a sanitary pad.

She wrote: “Husband just asked ‘Why on earth are we now cleaning the sink down with a heavy flow sanitary pad?!’ Bless him…”

Her comment had fellow users cracking up and inspired them to share their own hilarious Minky stories.

One person said: “So glad mine wasn’t the only one that thought that’s what it was! He thought that’s why it was called a Minky pad.”

Another replied: “Always wondered why my husband kept putting mine in the basket with all my sanitary products.”

A third added: “I did think it looked like one tbh.”

A different user was just impressed that the woman’s husband knew enough about sanitary products to recognise the shape of a pad, saying: “I’m surprised at how clued in he is, my husband wouldn’t know an ST if he tripped over one.”
