On April 7, the day before her sudden death, she posted to Twitter her shock over the current prices of drugs she used to do: “Every time I hear the new prices of drugs I used to do I be flabbergasted,” she wrote, as fans applauded her sobriety.
Following news of her death, fellow music icons and fans alike took to social media to share their sorrow and send their condolences to her family.
American artist Kehlani wrote: “Chynna you were f***n hilarious bro… today was our last exchange of jokes & those I will miss the most. I can’t believe it idk how to. I love you. So very much. My heart is officially iced.”
“Chynna was SOOO f*****g dope man wtf… scary to even have to say RIP,” fellow rapper Young Baby Tate tweeted.
