KIDS’ show ChuckleVision has been named the greatest CBBC series.

For more than two decades until 2009 Barry and Paul Elliott played the slapstick Paul and Barry Chuckle. Barry died aged 73 in August last year.

ChuckleVision topped the Radio Times poll of 3,000 people, followed by The Story Of Tracy Beaker and Dick And Dom in da Bungalow.

It comes after CBBC asked “Did we get it right?” after rating ChuckleVision “mid” tier in a Twitter ranking of shows.

Paul, 71, replied: “No actually you didn’t in my opinion. Chucklevision 294 episodes over 21 years.”
