CHRISTINE and Paddy McGuinness posted a selfie of themselves seemingly naked in bed after their “calmest, happiest Christmas yet”.
She shared the shot as a toast to a successful day with their autistic children adding that it only contained “one massive overload meltdown”.
Paddy, 46, also posted about Christmas with six-year-old twins Leo and Penelope and three-year-old Felicity, writing simply: “We survived!”
Christine posted the pictures after posing with a Christmas tree, telling fans: “We’ve done it and with only one massive overload meltdown! ?
“I’d say that was our most successful, calmest, happiest Christmas yet! ???.
“Kiddies are all in bed, mummy is cleaning up and getting an early night ?.. oh wow my life has changed! ❤️.”
She then posted the shot in bed with Paddy, adding: “Team work ??.”
He shared the same picture, writing: “We survived!!! All three kids in bed, Mummy & Daddy frigged! Time for an early night with @mrscmcguinness.”
Christine revealed earlier this month that she had put up her first Christmas tree in six years, explaining that they had overwhelmed her autistic twins.
The 31-year-old Real Housewives of Cheshire star admitted all the changes that take place during the festive period had upset Leo and Penelope, six.
But she posted a picture of the twins with their three-year-old sister Felicity standing around the sparkling tree.
She wrote: “I am the proudest mummy, I can’t believe my babies are happy around our Christmas tree. Christmas is always a very difficult time of year for us.
“Our children can get overwhelmed, upset with all the changes everywhere, the lack of school routine, they get overstimulated and anxious meaning daily meltdowns are a given.
“This year I am preparing more than ever, visiting Christmas displays as much as possible (even if we only last 5 minutes) .. choosing decorations for our tree together, using visual calendars, reading stories about Christmas, even watching peppa pigs Christmas on repeat.”
