Christina Ricci revealed some surprising news this weekend, casually announcing on social media that she married partner Mark Hampton.

The Addams Family actress shared photos of her and Mark, 37, in their wedding outfits to reveal they privately tied the knot.

It comes exactly two months after Christina, 41, announced she was pregnant with her and Mark’s first child together.

Alongside the wedding photos, she wrote: ‘Also Mr. and Mrs.’ Mark also shared the same photos and tagged his location as Los Angeles while captioning the post: ‘#justmarried.’

It appears the newlyweds decided to keep the ceremony fairly low-key with Mark wearing a white button down shirt and Christina donning a similar linen version, while holding a bouquet of flowers. It’s not known where the wedding was held as only a flower wall could be seen in the background behind them.

The actress’ celebrity friends rushed to congratulate the happy couple with Juliette Lewis writing: ‘Juliette Lewis: ‘Such a beautiful union. ❤️.’

Supermodel Naomi Campbell said: ‘Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️.’

Kelly Ripa commented: ‘Congratulations! What fantastic news! 😍😍💒,’ while Octavia Spencer chimed in simply: ‘Congratulations.’

In August, Christina announced she was expecting a baby with the hairdresser, sharing a photo of her baby scan.

‘Life keeps getting better. 🎉’, she wrote alongside the snap.

The Casper star already shares six-year-old son, Freddie, with her estranged husband James Heerdegen.

The former couple married in 2013 and welcomed their son in 2014 before Christina filed for divorce in 2020 following an alleged domestic battery incident.

She then filed a request for a domestic violence restraining order, six months after filing for divorce.

A judge granted her request and Heerdegen must stay 100 yards away from Ricci, has no visitation rights with their son, and must stay away from the family dog, under the terms of the restraining order.

Heerdegen’s attorney Larry Bakman told TMZ that his client ‘unequivocally denies all allegations of abuse made by Ms Ricci as having occurred in 2020’.

The filmmaker had sought a restraining order of his own after accusing Ricci of excessive drinking and domestic violence, but the request was denied by a judge.
