Chrissy Teigen trotted out to the shops for the day after confessing she struggles with leaving the house in the wake of her online bullying scandal.

The model was joined by her mum Vilailuck on the outing in West Hollywood on Tuesday.

The pair were seen browsing the shelves at a sunglasses shop with the mum-of-two trying a pair of aviator shades on for size.

Chrissy was decked out in a white shirt, tight tan trousers and knee high black boots, most likely to enjoy a horse ride after a bit of retail therapy. In January she revealed she had taken up the hobby at the recommendation of her therapist after the loss of her son Jack.

She wore her long hair in two neat braids and a black face mask as they entered the shop.

According to TMZ when asked by a photographer on her outing how long Chrissy expected to be in the ‘cancel club’ she replied: ‘All I can do is live my life and take care of my kids and family. Everyone else can make their choice.’

She added that other members of the ‘cancel club’ had ‘reached out’ and ‘have been amazing’.

The Lip Sync Battle star confessed on Instagram she was ‘depressed’ due to the fallout of sending nasty private messages on social media to people, who she has since contacted to apologise, including reality TV star Courtney Stodden.

Chrissy shared an honest and open message on Instagram with her 34 million followers, saying leaving her home ‘sucks’ and ‘doesn’t feel right’ and hit out at what she called the ‘cancel club’, declaring she ‘can’t do this silent s**t anymore’.

The TV star joked that she would love to be part of a ‘cancel club reunion’ to motivate her to leave the house.

‘Cancel club is a fascinating thing and I have learned a whollllle lot. Only a few understand it and it’s impossible to know til you’re in it. And it’s hard to talk about it in that sense because obviously you sound whiney when you’ve clearly done something wrong. It just sucks. There is no winning. But there never is here anyhow,’ she wrote.

‘If you or someone you know has also been cancelled please let me know if there is a cancel club reunion because I could use some time off my couch!’ she finished.
