Chrissy Teigen has given her take on the viral video of Ben Affleck seemingly messaging a woman asking why she had unmatched him on star-studded dating app Raya.

A video posted by TikToker Nivine Jay appeared to show Ben, 48, confronting her after she deleted him on the app after thinking she was being catfished.

The model posted a disapproving tweet declaring both the Argo star and Nivine Jay ‘wrong’, adding that the TikTok star was ‘tacky’ for making the message public.

She said: ‘I agree celebs shouldn’t be making these creepy desperate video replies on raya but it’s tacky to release private messages. Ya both wrong, congrats.’

Insisting she didn’t post the video to make fun of the Batman star, Nivine told E! News: ‘I was making fun of myself for thinking he was a catfish and it was just supposed to be funny.’

It’s unknown when the video was filmed or the legitimacy of it.

Ben, who recently split from girlfriend Ana de Armas after less than a year of dating, has previously denied being on Raya.

In an interview with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America last year, he said he wasn’t on any websites, adding: ‘I know people who are on them and they have a fun time, but not me. I would love to have a relationship that was deeply meaningful and one to which I could be deeply committed.’

Metro.co.uk has contacted Affleck’s reps for comment on the video.
