He’s known for his buff physique, playing the Marvel God of Thunder, Thor, in the hit films. 

And on Wednesday, Chris Hemsworth revealed how he gets in such great shape. 

Taking to Instagram, the 36-year-old showed off his bulging biceps in a singlet as he performed a grueling workout alongside his personal trainer, Luke Zocchi.

The workout, which is featured on Chris’ paid fitness app Centrfit, involved six repetitions of six different exercises, which the Hollywood hunk dubbed the ‘666 workout’. 

‘Alright, sticking with the 666 theme – six reps, six rounds, six exercises and six of your mates,’ Chris trailed off in the clip, as he moved around and exercised.  

Chris can be seen in the video working out using a bicep curl machine, before picking up 30kg weights and lifting them as quick as he can.

Chris’ personal trainer Luke previously revealed that he’s had to resort to training the Thor star in hotel rooms while they are travelling on press junkets.

In June, Luke told The Courier Mail that the duo often get interrupted by fans who want to take selfies with the Australian star as he works out at the gym.

‘It’s easier to just go train in the hotel rooms,’ Luke told the publication.

He continued: ‘You can go to a gym, but it gets a bit annoying doing selfies every two seconds.’

Meanwhile, Chris’ chef, Sergio Perera, who works on the recipes for Chris’ fitness app, told Nine Honey earlier this year about Chris’ diet. 

‘Chris doesn’t have any real particular preferences when it comes to food — he likes everything,’ Sergio said.

He then said if people want to get a body like Thor, they should try and eat ‘wholesome and nutrient-dense foods.’

He added that Chris likes to eat fish at night over red meat, as it helps him sleep better. 

‘[Hemsworth] did realise that his sleep was much better if he ate fish at night instead of red meat,’ Sergio said.

‘Digestion was easier and therefore rest was a lot better due to the way his body broke down the fish protein.’
