The former Radio 2 presenter is renowned for making surprise admissions during his morning show. And when his former wife came to visit the show to promote her upcoming film, Chris admitted he didn’t even know she was meant to be a guest. He said: “Good morning Billie Piper – how are you?!”
Billie replied: “Oh my – quite stressed, bit rattled but that’s every day at the moment.
“I was stressed about getting here on time, just getting through the day and achieving everything it’s one of those.”
Chris responded: “Well here’s the thing – I didn’t even know you were coming on the show until I arrived here this morning and saw your name on the board.”
Billie said: “Is that true?”

Chris said: “It’s true, it’s true!”
The actress added: “How do you not know what’s happening on your own show?”
Chris finished: “Well because you were booked until yesterday afternoon!”
It comes after Chris gave an update on Billie’s relationship status.
Billie has been married twice, to Chris for six years as well as actor Laurence Fox.
She is currently with Tribes frontman Johnny Lloyd, who she began dating in 2016.
Billie and Chris are still friends but when she appeared on the show, Chris gave an update on the relationship.
Chris said: “Johnny who you love to death, and who is your current and hopefully forever partner.”
Billie said: “I hope so!”
Chris responded: “I think he probably has the chance having seen both of you together.
“And Tallulah your gorgeous new baby together that doesn’t sound very dark to me.”
