CHRIS Evans’ RunFestRun welcomed Olly Murs to centre stage last night as he entertained at Britain’s big new running festival.
The event kicked off on Friday at Bowood House and Gardens in Wiltshire with running legends Paula Radcliffe and Colin Jackson.
Singer Olly performed on the second night of the three-day running and music festival hosted by Virgin Radio host Chris Evans and friends.
Thousands of families from all over the country have taken part in a range of running events from a half marathon and 10k to a fancy dress immersive 2.5k fun run.
Other live music included Razorlight, Faithless DJ set, Reef, The Coral and Ten Tonnes.
Presenter, DJ and author Fearne Cotton has given talks in celebration of her new podcast series ‘Happy Place’ and shares advice from experts on how to work through feeling down.
Colin Jackson, team GB’s former sprint and hurdler, multiple gold medallist and world record holder will be speaking to audiences.
These three are just some of the successful, inspirational and famous faces to attend the festival. They will also be joined by Britain’s most successful athlete ever Christine Ohuruogu, marathon runner Ben Smith and Dale Pinnock, the The Medicinal Chef.
Festival-goers have praised the event as a “fantastic weekend”.
