Chris Evans: ‘It's all I’m saying’ Virgin Radio host drops Meghan Markle ‘baby’ bombshell

Chris Evans, 53, hinted to his co-star Rachel Horne he “knew something” which his colleagues and listeners are not yet aware of, ahead of the royal birth. Despite continuous speculation on the impending arrival of Meghan Markle, 37, and Prince Harry’s, 34, first child, the Virgin Radio DJ revealed why he believes the new royal addition has been born. Chris said: “We sit here still finding ourselves. Some say minus a new royal baby or do we… ladies and gentleman?” Rachel whispered: “What do you know?”

He replied: “I’m not sure what I know, but I think I know something.”

As he wouldn’t spill the details, his co-star began to probe the presenter to at least give his listeners a hint on his big secret.

Chris mused: “Well, what more of a hint do you want, other than the fact that I think there might be a new royal baby already.

“I’m just saying, I’m just putting it out there. The Queen has been to see Meghan and Harry.”

News presenter, Rachel cheekily: “Did she drive past your house?”

But the former BBC Radio 2 DJ continued: “The Queen went to their place right. Now, she doesn’t do that. That’s all I’m saying.”

Rachel added: “When was it? Last night, this morning or the middle of the night? I need details.”

The radio presenter said: “Why?”

She said: “Because I need to know these things.”

Chris finished: “The Queen has been to see them. Now that doesn’t happen.”

The speculation comes after it was reported The Queen had visited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Frogmore Cottage, earlier this week, according to The Sun.

The source told The Sun: “Her Majesty wanted to formally welcome the Sussexes to their new home so she was their first visitor.

“After all, they’ve practically moved into her back garden.

“She visited with other family members and Harry and Meghan were delighted to show them round.”

Meghan is due to give birth to her baby in the coming weeks but the Palace have not confirmed the new royal baby’s arrival.

Chris Evans’ Breakfast Show airs weekdays at 6.30am on Virgin Radio.
