“He can’t get the same number of people where he is now,” Mark stated. “There might be something else in it for him.”
Mark, who is presenting Now That’s What I Call the 80s Live in Leicester next week, heaped praise on Chris.
The former Radio 1 regular said: “He’s one of this country’s greatest ever broadcasts, so I can’t speak for the Beeb but I imagine they think they had some of the best years of his work.”
Mark said he sometimes tunes into Chris’ show and gave his verdict: “It’s his normal show with a little bit of a twist, he’s a great broadcaster.”
