Chris Cornell’s estate is in dispute between his ex-wife, daughter and widow.

The Soundgarden singer – who past in 2017 – set up a trust for his daughter LIlly that included paying her college tuition as part of his divorce settlement with ex wife Susan Silver back in 2004.

However, after Lilly stopped attending a California university, the estate is now locked in a disagreement over future payments, according to TMZ.

Lilly filed a claim to ask for money from the estate to ‘cover college and other expenses’ but the estate objected after Lilly’s recent history of attending university.

Last year, the trust paid $21,000 for each semester at a California university, but Lilly allegedly ‘dropped out after the first week of instruction in the second semester.’

The trust – administered by Chris’ widow Vicky – decided to cut off future tuition payments until there is proof she is enrolled again.

However, TMZ reports that the trust not seeking reimbursement for the tuition money.

Chris was also father to daughter Toni, 16, and son Christopher, 13.

Chris joined the Seattle-based rock band Soundgarden in 1984 as its drummer and vocalist until becoming its lead vocalist and frontman in 1985.

After releasing their debut EP Screaming Life in 1987, they signed to A&M Records in 1989, becoming the first grunge band to sign with a major record label.

After Soundgarden’s break-up in 1997, Chris joined several former Rage Against the Machine members in 2001 to form a new band, Audioslave, which soon found success with their multiplatinum self-titled album released in November 2002.
