Scottish pop band Chvrches have found themselves in a brutal feud with Chris Brown as he unleashed a no-holds-barred rant online.
The three-piece band from Glasgow had recently issued a statement saying that they were “disappointed” with producer and DJ Marshmello for his decision to work with Tyga and Chris Brown – who they described as “predators and abusers” – on their new single Light It Up.
Chvrches recently worked with Marshmello for their hit Here With Me.
But they were left “really upset and confused” after hearing about their former collaborator’s new move.
They said: “We like and respect Mello as a person but working with people who are predators and abusers enables, excuses and ultimately tacitly endorses that behaviour.
“That is not something we can or will stand behind.”
But it wasn’t long before Brown and Tyga responded.
Commenting on one of their Instagram posts, American singer Brown exploded in a lengthy rant.
He wrote: “BUNCH OF LOSERS. These are the type of people I wish walked in front of a speeding bus full of mental patients.
“Keep groveling over your own insecurities and hatred.
“IM BLACK AND PROUD. AND I KNOW ITS HURTS THAT U GUYS ARE STRUGGLING WIT LIFE OR PEACE SO U ARE FORCED TO SEE MY SUCCESS.
“You aren’t #2 (REMEMBER 2nd place only means YOU LOST FIRST! TA-TA. GOODDAY PEASANTS.”

And commenting on the original statement, Tyga wrote: “Where all God’s children.
“Everyone makes mistakes no ones perfect. Let’s Keep the energy positive.”
Brown was charged in 2009 for assaulting singer and then-girlfriend Rihanna, pleading guilty to one count of felony assault.
Tyga has also been criticised for his former relationship with Kylie Jenner, who was allegedly under legal age of consent when they first began dating.
Chvrches lead singer Lauren Mayberry has since exposed a barrage of hate following her band’s move to call out Chris Brown and Tyga.

One sick troll wrote: “I hope Tyga rapes you, then Chris brown beats the s*** out of you.
“Learn to keep Chris Browns name out of you gutter trailer trash a** mouth, stupid racist white b****.”
Another wrote: “Watch out we gone kill you if you don’t do it yourself if yo don’t stop hatin on Chris Brown.”

Hitting back at the trolls, Mayberry wrote: “I am not posting these things because I feel sorry for myself.
“I am posting them to show you what happens when you don’t fall in line.
“If the music industry believes Time’s Up, then time needs to be up. Stop promoting and financially rewarding abusers.”
She later added: “Angry men on the internet can call me all the names they want.
“I still think domestic abuse is wrong. Peace out, internet. Tomorrow is a brand new day.”
