Chip pays tribute to his ‘brother’ as rapper Black The Ripper dies at 32


Rapper Black The Ripper has died aged 32.

It is currently unknown how he died.

Musicians such as rappers Chip, Lethal Bizzle and Yungen have been paying tribute to the star on social media.

Chip, one of Black The Ripper’s closest friends, shared a picture with him on Twitter with the caption: ‘RIP my brother’.

He added on Instagram: ‘Real tears. I never cry. Rest in peace my bro. Forever here for your son. CM DOE 4L and after.’

Lethal Bizzle tweeted: ‘Wow RIP Black The Ripper. This year has been a mazza.’

Krept posted: ‘No way black the ripper. R.I.P man fuckinghell what a horrible year.’

Producer Novelist said: ‘I can’t believe the news I’ve just got. I had good times with you cuz. Everyone’s gonna miss you. Rest in peace Black the ripper.’

Nadia Rose tweeted: ‘RIP Black The Ripper, this one cutting too deep,’ while rapper Headie One added: ‘Check in with your loved ones.’

He shot to fame with mixtapes such as Afro Samurai and Holla Black.

The star, real name Dean West, had also campaigned for the legalisation of marijuana in the UK, and fronted his streetwear clothing line Dank Of England.

He is survived by his five-year-old son.
