Cheryl was in chipper spirits on Tuesday night as she headed to the star-studded performance of Big The Musical this eve.

There alongside Girls Aloud colleague Nicola Roberts, the pair were on hand to support their former bandmate Kimberley Walsh, who is starring in the West End production.

Beaming in a red blouse and trouser ensemble, the 36-year-old sashayed into the Dominion Theatre, proving that although the group disbanded in March 2013, they’re still there for one another.

Adding a pair of strappy nude heels to her look, she wore her long, brown hair out, with a chain bag slung over her shoulder.

Once inside, she posed with close pal Nicola, who was dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a black, sparkly blazer.

She shared a snap alongside Cheryl and Kimberley (who stars as Susan Lawrence), as the singer wrote: ‘We’re so excited tonight for Kimberely’ [sic].

The gala performance, in aid of Make-A-Wish Foundation UK, was attended by a swag of celebrity punters out for a night at the theatre.

Sporting a broad smile she was joined by a mate who appeared to be acting as bell boy as he lugged a suitcase emblazoned with her initials into the swanky theatre.

Craig Revel Horwood also made an appearance, wearing a bright blue suit.

Lydia Bright also made an appearance, showing off her growing baby bump in all its glory, while Strictly’s Saffron Barker took a night off rehearsals to watch the musical.

The play is a musical adaptation based on the 80s film of the same name starring Tom Hanks. It tells the story of 12-year-old Josh Baskin, who is forced to tackle adulthood a little earlier than anticipated after his wish to be ‘big’ is granted by a Zoltar machine.

It’s a rollercoaster of emotions.

Kimberley stars alongside The Wanted’s Jay McGuinness, Matthew Kelly and Wendi Peters in the production that kicked off in the West End last week, before it comes to an end on 2 November.
