CHERYL baffled fans when she wore green contact lenses on The Greatest Dancer last night.
The 36-year-old singer, who normally has dark brown eyes, decided to switch things up during her appearance on the BBC One dance show.
The star took to her Instagram to show off her immaculate makeup and new coloured eyes whilst getting ready for her appearance on the competition.
Digging her new look, she decided to mess around with some more Instagram filters – including one which left her with a huge smile on her face after she was labelled “Cheryl Squad.”
The filter went through the names of her fellow Dance Captains and when she was finally given her own name she shouted: “You know, you know!”
After her hair and makeup was perfected, the Girls Aloud star completed her look with a stunning pink and red sparkly jumpsuit – which complemented her new choice of eye colour amazingly.
However, fans took to Twitter to discuss their confusion over her sudden decision to alter her appearance.
One said: “Cheryl’s back with the contacts. I like them a lot but it is weird seeing her without her beautiful brown eyes.”
Another tweeted: “Why is Cheryl Cole suddenly wearing coloured contacts lately on the greatest dancer the heck.”
A third wrote: “What’s going on with Cheryl‘s contacts this last couple of weeks? New idea? #GreatestDancer.”
Another was clearly unimpressed and prefers her to show off her natural beauty as they tweeted: “Cheryl still has the dodgy contacts in then #GreatestDancer.”
The second series of The Greatest Dancer hit our screens at the beginning of the new year after it was confirmed to return in February 2019.
Every week competitors dance it out in front of their Dance Captains – Cheryl, professional dancer Obi Mabuse, 29 Glee icon Matthew Morrison, 41, and American Idol star Todrik Hall, 34 – with a chance of winning £50,000 and perform on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Singer Alesha Dixon, 41 and Britain’s Got Talent winner Jordan Banjo, 27, co-host the programme and this season Curtis Pritchard, 24, replaced Amelia Wilson as the receptionist for the latest series.
His role on the show consists of welcoming the acts before they go on stage.
But it seems that Cheryl and the Love Island star aren’t even that close considering they are on the same programme.
The Strictly star revealed that he’s only spoken to the beauty for a total of 10 minutes – despite them filming together for the show.
He told new magazine: “I only spoke to Cheryl for around 10 minutes, because my reception area was away from those guys.”
