Cheryl and Alesha Dixon dazzle ahead of The Greatest Dancer series two

She’s gearing up for her return to the BBC for a second edition of The Greatest Dancer, set to air next month.

And Cheryl commanded attention as she posed alongside a pregnant Alesha Dixon in a series of promotional throwback images for the competition series.

Nailing business chic, the dance captain, 36, stunned in a belted lilac blazer while the show’s presenter, 41 – who gave birth in August – displayed her baby bump in a ruched red mini-dress.

Turnings heads with her vibrant display, the former Girls Aloud member boosted her frame in a pair of fluffy ankle-strap heels.

Cheryl amped up the glamour as she accessorised with a thick wrist cuff and shimmery dangle earrings as she struck a series of smouldering poses by a mirrored wall.

Ellie Ferguson was crowned the first ever winner in February and received £50,000, as well as a chance to perform on Strictly. In June, Cheryl confirmed her return to the show in an exclusive statement to MailOnline.

The songstress said she ‘really enjoyed’ working with the dancers on the BBC show, and is delighted to returning as a judge for the second series, which is expected to air early next year.

Cheryl said earlier in the year: ‘I’m coming back to The Greatest Dancer. I absolutely loved being a coach on the show this year, it was a really enjoyable experience and it was brilliant to launch a brand new TV show.

‘It was so much fun working with my acts, and I can’t wait to start that all over again with the auditions later this year.’

The Geordie beauty has been keeping busy as of recent, with the star appearing on the UK edition of Drag Race.

In May, she released her single Let You, which debuted at number 57 on the UK Singles Chart.

Cheryl – who shares son Bear, two, with ex Liam Payne, 26 – recently revealed she’s set to collaborate with rapper Wiley on her hotly-anticipated fifth album in the coming weeks, and teased her record will feature a ‘big upbeat production’.

The Fight For This Love hitmaker said she’s hoping to create some more pop tracks that people can sing along to, and wants to include plenty of dance steps.

She told Gay Times Magazine: ‘Always upbeat with a big production. The more dance steps I can get in there, the happier I am – and the more people can sing along. I just want everybody to enjoy it at this point.’
