Cheryl accused of lip-syncing as X Factor's Louis Walsh reignites bitter feud


Louis Walsh has reignited his ongoing feud with Cheryl‘s after he accusing her of lip-syncing and told her to return to X Factor as a contestant rather than a judge.

The outspoken Irish star, who will return to the small screen this weekend on X Factor: Celebrity , gave Liam Payne’s baby mama a tongue lashing at the 2019 Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards.

Chatting to Daily Star Online, Louis, 67, initially kept things civil when asked about a possible Cheryl X Factor return.

The ITV regular said: “Look, she is in the dancing show…”

However, never one to keep his opinions to himself, Louis savagely continued: “X Factor as a contestant?

“As a contestant she would be good. I don’t know if she could win.”

In a withering put-down to the Geordie starlet, Louis added: “She doesn’t mime. “It’s called lip-syncing… lip-sync for your life.”

Cheryl’s most recent live performance was hit was her with universal praise.

The Fight For This Love starlet wowed during a high energy set at Manchester Pride.

During the show Cheryl’s vocals could clearly be heard as she performed a high-energy routine.

However, during her career, Chezza has fallen victim to some microphone mishaps.

In 2012 Cheryl performed Call Me Name on Stand Up To Cancer only for her microphone not to be turn up loud enough for the majority of the performance.

To make matters worse the pre-recorded vocals also didn’t play.

Ever the professional, half-way through the song Cheryl’s mic was fixed and her vocals could be heard as she continued to dance-up a storm in heels.

The X Factor Celebrity kicks off on ITV Saturday 8.35pm.
