A draw could be enough for Chelsea against Lille on Tuesday night in the Champions League, but they need a win to guarantee progression to the knockout stages.

The Blues go into the contest third in their group, level on points with Valencia in second and two points behind Ajax at the top, with Lille languishing at the bottom on one point.

This means that three points would safely steer Frank Lampard’s men into the last 16 and they are hot favourites to manage it against a side that has really struggled in Europe this season.

Lille have scored just three goals in their five games in Group H and go into this clash with a -9 goal difference.
