Chelsea star N’Golo Kante has been compared to Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard after his funny slip against Arsenal. Kante lost his balance during Gabriel Martinelli’s sprint which led to the Gunners’ sensational equaliser after 63 minutes at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues opened the scoring on 28 minutes after another howler by Shkodran Mustafi whose weak back pass was picked up by Tammy Abraham who was brought down inside the box by David Luiz.

The referee pointed at the penalty spot and sent Luiz off with a straight red card before Jorginho put the hosts up front.

However, Frank Lampard’s side couldn’t defend their lead as Kante slipped just outside his box and that allowed Martinelli to simply run by him and beat Kepa Arrizabalaga to even the score.

Fans then took to Twitter to point out how the France international’s blunder resembled Gerrard’s unfortunate misstep in 2014 against Chelsea which led to Liverpool losing the Premier League title to Manchester City.
