Chelsea CHANGE Eden Hazard transfer demand as Blues line up Nicolas Pepe deal

The Blues star has been linked with a mega transfer to Real Madrid this summer.

Hazard will enter the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge and it will be the final occasion Chelsea can demand a big fee for their talisman.

Spanish outlet AS claim Real Madrid are still in negotiations with the Blues over the Belgian.

Los Blancos were not willing to meet the original £100m demand made by Chelsea for Hazard.

And now with the Blues interested in Lille forward Pepe they could be willing to move on that price.

The 23-year-old has netted 20 goals and provided 14 assists in all competitions.

And Lille president Gerard Lopez recently said: “It is sure he will leave.

“He enters a price range that can no longer be paid.

“There is a career choice to make, I think he will have the choice.”

However Chelsea could face big problems if their two-window transfer ban is upheld.

That would mean Maurizio Sarri could lose Hazard and have no way of signing a replacement.

Chelsea could face competition from Arsenal and Manchester United for Pepe though.

Bayern Munich are also said to be keeping tabs.

Hazard could feature for Chelsea tonight as they take on Slavia Prague in the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final.

The Blues lead 1-0 on aggregate leaving the tie poised on a knife-edge.
