Chelsea agree fee with Tottenham for Olivier Giroud… but transfer will only happen if Lampard lands Mertens

CHELSEA have agreed a fee with Tottenham to sell Olivier Giroud – but the transfer will only go through if the Blues land Dries Mertens today.

However, SunSport understands it is very unlikely that Chelsea will be able to convince Mertens to join.
