Charlotte Crosby has split from boyfriend Ryan Gallagher, just weeks after leaving I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Australia.
The Geordie Shore favourite got close to the Married At First Sight star as they spent time together in the jungle – and even lifted the lid on their sex life.
However, it wasn’t to last and the 29-year-old has revealed their decision to ‘cool it off’.
In a chat with 10 Daily, she explained: ‘When me and Ryan came out of the jungle I made no secret that I had been in a very long relationship and I wasn’t ready to jump into another one.
‘I still wasn’t looking for something serious, he’s at a stage in his life where he is – so we came to a mutual decision that we’d just cool it off.’
Charlotte, who split with Joshua Richie shortly before jetting to Australia, is hoping to stay single for the next year so she can be ‘selfish’.
But, despite breaking up, she insisted that she’s still close to Ryan, 31, adding: ‘We are still friends. I love that boy to bits, he’s amazing.
‘Like, my time in there would not have been the same without him. We had an amazing connection and we’re all going to be meeting up, having a big reunion in Melbourne, so it’s all going to be fine.’
The news may come as a shock, as the MTV star recently introduced her now-ex to her mum, and got pretty candid about their sex life.
Speaking on her jungle exit, she admitted they hadn’t quite gone all the way because she had ‘infections down there’.
‘Obviously he’s here now, we spent last night together – nothing like you think,’ she told the Project at the time.
‘I’ve got some infections down there, which just… you can’t really go there at the minute.
‘At the weekend there’s going to be some fireworks, I tell you now! Give us two more days with the cream.’
She also told fellow campmate Tanya Hennessy that she could see herself walking down the aisle with the reality star.
‘I’ve been searching for someone like Ryan literally my whole life. He’s so thoughtful and he remembers everything and those are the qualities I want in a husband,’ she said.
‘I don’t need someone that’s going to provide for us because that’s out of the question. All I ask from someone is to feel safe with then, and protected and loved and I’ve never had that.
‘I’ve never felt loved, Ryan shows us pure love and he doesn’t even love us yet.’
‘I can actually picture our lives together. I think he’s so fit as well. I look at him and think, “That’s attractive”.’
