Charlotte Church has confirmed that she secretly welcomed a baby girl some time last year and has given the world a first glimpse of the adorable tot.

The classical singer announced last March that she was pregnant but remained mostly out of the spotlight in the months after.

Earlier this week, Holly Willoughby accidentally let slip that Charlotte had given birth during an interview on This Morning and now the singer has confirmed the news.

During an appearance on Sink The Pink Pop Tart podcast, Charlotte announced: ‘I would love to introduce you to my little baby. Covid realness honey.’

She then brought her daughter, who looked cute dressed in a pink onesie with bunny ears, onto camera.

Charlotte shares the tot with husband Jonathan Powell and is also mother to two other children; Ruby, 12, and Dexter, 11, from her previous relationship with rugby star Gavin Henson.

The 34-year-old casually revealed her pregnancy last March in a tweet about not being able to take part in a charity event.

‘Gutted to have missed it. I’m preggers so I’m airing on the side of caution in terms of virus. It looks like it was a great success. X,’ Charlotte tweeted.

This Morning host Holly accidentally revealed Charlotte’s baby news by referring to the fact she had three children.

‘You’ve got the three kids now. How is home schooling?’ Holly asked, to which Charlotte replied: ‘I’ve been homeschooling my own children now for a few years now.’
