Charley Webb: ‘It’s agony’ Emmerdale’s Debbie Dingle star reveals diagnosis after sickness

Charley Webb has discussed the “agony” she is going through while pregnant with her third child with husband Matthew Wolfenden. The Emmerdale regular addressed her health woes during her recent baby shower, which features in the latest issue of OK! Magazine. The Debbie Dingle actress has bee diagnosed with symphysis pubis dysfunction, which affects the pelvis and back. But despite the pain and morning sickness, there might be more children on the horizon for her and her co-star spouse, 39, who plays David Metcalfe in the ITV soap.

“Matthew would have ten kids if he could,” Charley started, after first revealing they were expecting back in February.

She continued: “I still get waves of sickness but I’ve also been diagnosed with SPD.

“It’s when your muscles have relaxed too much ready for the birth. It’s agony.”

The pregnant star went on to discuss her plans for the arrival, admitting the couple differ ever so slightly.

Charley stated: “Matthew’s up for a home birth but I’d like to be in a hospital for the sake of my own anxiety, in case anything went wrong.

“I’d be lying if I said I really enjoy the experience of getting bigger but I appreciate what my body is doing. I think pregnancy is amazing.”

The famous pair are already parents to Buster, nine, and three-year-old Bowie, who helped them confirm the exciting news on Instagram.

The young family were seen posing in a wooded area with their dog, while the eldest held up a lightbox which read: “Buster, Bower and…”

Charley simply captioned it: “#Number3,” after wrapping up in a blue woolly hate and long black coat.

Matthew was seen beaming next to her in a khaki jacket, grey skinny jeans and chunky boots.

Meanwhile, it comes just hours after she gushed about one of her colleagues, following the British Soap Awards 2019 on Saturday.

Charley wrote: “SO proud of my girl,” alongside a snap of Lucy Pargeter, who portrays Chas Dingle, on the red carpet.

The 42-year-old triumphed at the bash, being crowned Best Actress after 17 years in the long-running drama.

Wearing her dark tresses up in a top knot, she opted for a slinky black gown for the ceremony, complete with sheer detailing and side split.
