Charley Webb: 'I honestly worry' Emmerdale’s Debbie Dingle slams ‘disgusting’ discovery


Charley Webb, 32, took to Twitter to slam people who have been taking part in a “coronavirus challenge”. The Emmerdale star was alerted about the issue from a tweet posted by Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan yesterday.

The so-called challenge involves participants filming themselves licking toilet seats during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Piers fumed about the social media trend, writing in view of his seven million followers: “These people need to be arrested & charged with attempted murder. I’m serious.”

Charley agreed with the presenter and described the challenge as “the most disgusting thing” she has ever seen.

The actress retweeted Piers’ comment in view of her 444,000 followers and added: “This is the most DISGUSTING thing I’ve ever seen.

Elsewhere, Charley opened up about her anxiety over homeschooling her children following the closure of UK schools on Friday because of the coronavirus outbreak.

The small-screen star shares three sons with her husband Matthew Wolfenden – also an Emmerdale actor – Buster, nine, Bowie, four, and eight-month-old Ace.

Charley posted a picture of the couple’s eldest son working on his laptop this morning.

Alongside the the image she shared a lengthy post revealing her worries about teaching her son at home while entertaining a preschooler and a baby.

Charley began: “A different way of learning. Buster joined his class to do his maths lesson.”

Praising the schools and teachers that have put together home learning packs and online lessons, she added: “I think what the schools have put into place is absolutely amazing.”

Revealing her earlier fears, Charley went on to say: “I have to admit, I was slightly anxious about doing this everyday.

“And juggling the other 2 but actually think it’ll give Buster some really good structure.”

“Something I think we’re all going to need right now,” she added.
