Charley Webb, 32, has revealed that she and her husband and Emmerdale co-star Matthew Wolfenden, 40, have a “secret” baby name saved if they welcome a little girl into their family. The Debbie Dingle actress, who shares three young sons, Buster, 10, Bowie, five, and Ace, one, with her other half, revealed the news during an Instagram Q&A with fans last night.
Charley began by sharing that she doesn’t know if she’s “done” having children yet when one of her 481,000 followers asked: “Do you want anymore children?”
Addressing her and Matthew’s family plans alongside a sweet festive family photo, the soap star replied: “Who knows?
“Three is absolute chaos but I don’t know if I’m done yet?
“Just never know if you will be able to have another, I feel blessed with my 3 boys.”
“Bowie’s still a bit young to understand so we never have it on when they’re around.”
“It’s been hard keeping filming a secret,” she told The Sun.
“I only told my close friends and family so there was less chance of it getting out.”
“I’ve known for a while that this would be part of her return.”
Charley added: “It’s always nice for the audience to get a surprise.”
The ITV star went on to hint that Emmerdale viewers will be in for more surprising revelations as she spilled Debbie has “no idea” she is Al’s mistress.
“He’s convinced her that keeping it a secret will be better because her family hate him and she agree,” she continued.
It comes after Charley said of her maternity leave in January: “It’s been really good fun, but there are no plans for me to return to work at the moment.”
