Channing Tatum is bringing his Magic Mike Live strip show to Australia in 2020. 

And on Tuesday, the 39-year-old told The Daily Telegraph that women can get hands on with the strippers. 

The actor says women can ‘touch’ the performers but will have a ‘safe word’ if things go too far.

The star of Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL appeared at Melbourne‘s Plaza Ballroom on Tuesday to promote next year’s Magic Mike Live events. 

He then appeared on The Project on Tuesday night, where he admitted he is no longer likely to strip off himself.  

The modest actor-dancer said: ‘If I’m ever in that kind of shape again, I will. I don’t know if that will happen.

‘It’s a full-time job what they look like. I don’t know. I’m getting older, man. This body doesn’t do the same things it used to do.’    

While Channing won’t appear in the shows, Magic Mike Live features 20 performers, including 15 ‘of the most talented male dancers in the world’.  

Magic Mike Live is an immersive 360-degree live dance and acrobatic spectacular based on the hit movie franchise.

The Australian version of the widely-popular stage show will include a whopping 162 dates next year in Melbourne and Sydney, with further dates for Brisbane and Perth to follow. 

Conceived and co-directed by Channing in 2016, Magic Mike Live has already been a success in Las Vegas and London. 

Tickets, which range between $75 and $185, are available at Ticketmaster.com.au
