Channing Tatum wants to settle his custody agreement with ex-wife Jenna Dewan once and for all, and is asking a judge for help.

The Magic Mike actor’s divorce from Jenna was finalised last week, almost two years after their split.

But there is one issue still lingering with the former couple struggling to come a custody plan for their six-year-old daughter Everly.

According to TMZ, Channing, 39, filed legal documents asking a judge to decide on how they parent Everly going forward.

Channing reportedly wants a schedule drawn up over how to split their time with their only child for occasions such as Thanksgiving, Halloween, winter break, Everly’s birthday, Father’s Day and Mother’s Day.

He also wants each parent to have consistent FaceTime with Everly when she’s spending time with one parent.

The legal papers state that Channing acknowledges he and Jenna, 38, have busy lives due to their careers taking them around the world. In light of this, he’s keen for a co-parenting counsellor to assist with scheduling matters to avoid conflict.

Channing’s also requesting permission to take Everly out of school for up to five days per year for special ‘work-related commitments’.

The documents state: ‘Due to our constantly changing work schedules, we have had conflict over adjustments to our schedules to ensure both parties are able to have equal time with our daughter, Everly.

‘[Jenna] and I are fortunate to have employment that offers us unique and once in a lifetime opportunities. I would like to be able to share these experiences with Everly and believe that Everly would benefit from getting to take advantage of such opportunities.’

Additionally, Channing appears keen to protect Everly’s image and wants the judge to legally prohibit him or Jenna from using her name or likeness in any for-profit sponsorship or advertising without the other’s consent.

Since announcing the end of their eight-year marriage, Channing and Jenna appear to have been co-parenting Everly rather amicably with both seen spending time with the youngster.

It was revealed last week that a judge has granted their legal separation ending their divorce, meaning they are free to move on with other relationships.

Jenna is currently expecting her second child with her partner Steve Kazee, while Channing has been dating British singer Jessie J for more than a year.
