Goth is one of the biggest fashion and beauty trends for autumn/winter. So if you’re looking Halloween makeup that’s more chic than shriek, then this should be your go to.
Look to the gothic influences of your youth for inspiration, as well as looking for the catwalks’ dark glossy lips and lids for inspiration, and experiment with the blackest kohl liner, deepest berry lipsticks and two-shades-lighter foundation.
With a range of deep, brooding colours, long-lasting formulas and endless gothic appeal, Sleek Makeup is the perfect brand to help us on our moody mission. We’re thinking liner on liner, nightshade lips, and a little something extra, just for Halloween (a spooky splash of purple, perhaps?).
Keep scrolling for step-by-step tips from us on how to channel your inner goth this Halloween, as well as the Sleek Makeup products (plus a few others) you’ll need to create the look.

- Start with Loose Pigment in Trippin & Psychedelic, £5.49, applying all over the eyelids and little underneath the eyes.
- Using Fierce Felt Liner in Zodiac Black, £5.99, line your top lids, sweeping it out to a dramatic wing. Also, line the inner corners of your eyes, bringing it to a point for a cat-eye shape.
- Apply Eylure’s Dramatic Lashes No. 201, £7.75 to the top lashes and Definition Lashes No. 126, £7.25 to the bottom lashes to make your eyes appear larger.
- To blend in the strip lashes, apply Intense Waterliner in Zodiac Black, £4.99 into the waterline.
- Now, using the purple shade from i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in Original, £8.99, trace the outside of the black eyeliner line on your top and bottom lids.
