Chancellor says investment in public services is a priority


The chancellor says the government will be investing in public services like schools, skills and policing.

Rishi Sunak will deliver the Budget on Wednesday, setting out the government’s tax and spending plans for the year.

Some in the Conservative Party have encouraged him to cut taxes but, speaking to the BBC’s Andrew Marr, he said investment is still a priority.
